With today's busy world, it can be hard for the average person to find
time to affirm their beliefs and touch their spirituality. Even if
we don't have time for a full-blown formal ritual, there are still
things that you can do, that either take a few minutes of your day, or
that you can incorporate into your daily life, that might help you feel
a little more in touch with your spiritual side, and remind you that
you're not alone.
Following are some of the suggestions given by members of our online
community.
I always make a few minutes in the
morning for my devotions. I take time to talk to the birds, the
squirrels, the neighbor's dogs, and yep! even my flowers and
garden. I always enjoy being outside, enjoying the fresh
air...even when it is 106 outside. I always wear a pentacle and
carry a few "choice" stones or crystals in my pocket to keep
me "grounded" throughout the day....I listen to my intuition,
and try to follow my heart everyday. - possum
I always stir Widdershins when I cook
I remember the law of Karma when I am tempted to lash out at someone
verbally or do something I know I shouldn't
I meditate (not as much as I would like to)
I try to be environmentally friendly
I am raising my son to respect Mother Earth & all she holds dear
I use essential oils, incense, herbs and crystals to keep myself
grounded & healthy (I also use my Dr. & follow his advice!)
I continue to seek knowledge about the craft.... never stop learning!
I resist the crowding out by non pagans by giving myself daily reminders
of my faith. For example I have begun collecting witches and
cauldrons. The cauldrons can be tucked into the decor by holding
decorative items & the witches, well, everyone is starting to think
that I just collect them as some people collect unicorns & frogs
& such! I also have a cat collection! If you do not have
the extra $$$ or inclination to collect things like that, you could
sketch or draw or stick up a paper with sayings somewhere you will only
see it or will see it everyday! Like the bottom of a drawer, the
back of your closet wall, or the fridge! - Krymson Moon
I
spend time outside watching Nature everyday...or night, no matter what
the weather
I try to live as 'naturally' as possible in a modern world
I help friends magically, when they ask......and when its really needed,
not just on a whim
I feed the birds, and take care of their bathing needs
I do my own personal 'ritual' in the morning
I give my thanks to the Goddess and God at night
I try to live my life as balanced as possible.......and help friends to
find their balance
I commune with the cats on a daily, hourly...oh heck, by the minute
basis during the day! - VroomBroom
In
live my life with the Lady and Lord constantly on my mind.
When I am happy and grateful I whisper a prayer of thanks. When I am sad
and in need I chant for comfort and luck.
I try to find time to meditate.
I listen to those around me, and pay closer attention to those I
haven't.
I try to better myself, and not deny who I am, what I am good at and
what needs work.
I know Nature and hear it's call. I mourn for her, and try to do my part
to make things a bit better.
I live and let live but will not stand aside when abuse and violence is
present.
I am there magically for those who question, and those who ask my help.
I try to live my life as close to my dreams as possible, I strive to
shape my reality to my vision. And I hope it's a vision of harmony. - Asherah
I
believe in power of the Earth and try everyday to show great respect for
her.

their items are contain too many harmful ingredients.

in the grand scheme of things.

by next year.
